One more thing, it seems as though when the computer turns on or off there is only a little thud noise coming out of the speaker instead of the start up There's currently just no way to get these sounds to play. After restarting, the login sound plays, and I am able to use media. It seems like this method cannot be applied on my laptop (Windows 10).
