Win 7 Service Pack 1 Installation Fails - AND Messes Up Drive Letters!


I really did not want to go through a clean install. Any ideas on what else I might try? It has to be active, writable, and have no corrupt files, especially BCD, otherwise the installation fails catastrophically. Install Win 7 Service Pack 1 and it should finish with no errors after it reboots itself. I have seen quite a few corrupted BCD stores cause these types of issues.
